This is part 1 of a series where I talk about how specific tactics can be used to increase suggestibility, trust, and dependency. This series will be talking about how these techniques can be used in a religious context. Disclaimer: Mind control does not mean that someone does something against there will. It is a set of tactics used to influence someone’s actions, thoughts, and behaviors. It is not ONLY used in a religious setting. It is simply the focus of this series.

I think only the weak minded can fall to be manipulated by lyrics in songs, we’re all susceptible to the rhythm of music, lyrics enters our brains and then it either accepted or rejected by the listener, your right, we can easily be manipulated by song. Hence the use of hims in church choirs, repeatedly the lyrics are accepted as facts, only the very rational can break the spell. Congrats that U did..

Its sad your religious encounter has driven u to this place. However sometimes in losing ourselves we find ourselves. I pray that God becomes more real to you here than ever b4. i was in a similar place and i came to myself. God became more real, relevant, practical than ever B4. Just allow your heart to be open to his voice because I believe hes tugging on you–I can be wrong, but i really believe u love God. take care

Here’s my Christian Rock (Crock) song:

[Heavy Metal] – It’s called “Love of the Lord”, hope you like it:

“Burn! AS the Devil takes you!
    Burn! Over Satan’s pitchfork!
Burn! While the worms are feeding on you!
Burn! As you scream in agony!

    Then it starts again!!!

    Aaaaaarrrrghhh!!”

    [Repeat]

I…love…music. As a musician and an aspiring audio engineer it is/will be my life. We’ve all seen the people passing out at concerts (and no it’s not just because of the drugs) The hysteria mind set that can be induced is intoxicating. It’s a huge emotional release for me as well and I think we know that a belief in religion is a highly emotional belief.

FYI I like the song The Man Comes Around by Johnny Cash. Go listen to it really quick if you don’t know it. You’ll appreciate the irony.
