I have interlaced a “how to” video on brainwashing followers to joint a cult with various clips of Christian Evangelist and their followers engaging in similar practices. I hope to demonstrate the dangerous influence Christianity can have on the one’s psyche and mental well-being. Of course, I am not equating all forms of Christianity to dangerous cults, like Scientology. Many moderate Christians practice their faith without engaging in any hypnotic mind control techniques like speaking in tongues, chanting, allowing themselves to loose physical control and so on. However, if left unchecked any religion has the potential to corrupt and destroy the lives of its followers, spread falsehoods, and inspire discrimination/hatred of those who do not share similar philosophical beliefs.

@kccalden You really are naive. I used to be Christian for over 20 years and there really are many cult like examples from the video that churches use too. And how do you know we are “people who have never gone to church”? If you can make that assumption then I can assume as well you’ve never been to one. And if you’re church teaches you to question everything like you said, perhaps you should of first asked question before dumping assumptions.

i don’t care if your christian buddist jewish or muslim be yourself and don’t let your religion control your life and if i cared about what was in the bible i would read it at home and not go to a church or some other place to get another persons interpretation of they think

@kccalden The theme you need to understand is that the Jesus Myth is the foundations of which all these cults are built on. I suggest you watch the Zeitgeist movie for starters.

I never claimed all churches are the same. However, the church I used to attend spoke in tongues, and I’ve had friends tell me that in their church, when they missed a Bible study, the other members of the group would come to his home and question him about his absence. There are moderate to extreme levels of Christianity and this video displays the latter. Not all Churches are the same, but that doesnt mean the bad ones dont exists — this video is a testament to that fact.

And exactly how do we know each other? Where did you receive the information that I “have NEVER been to church”? I read the Bible pretty regularly. But I also study medicine and I am about to begin my clinical rotations in medical school. I understand in great detail how the human body works and the process of evolution that has brought us here. Did you know that too? Organized religion is often used a brainwashing tool by evangelical creationists, this videos demonstrates this phenomenon.

As a matter of fact I am being serious. Can a miracle ever be objectively quantified through scientific means? I will ask again, out of the millions or billions of alleged “miracles” that God has supposedly granted his faithful followers, why hasnt a single, solitary one of them been on the order of magnitude as an amputated limb being restored or a child with Down Syndrome making a full recovery? And yes, if God appeared to me Id convert. But he prefers to work in “mysterious ways”, doesnt he?

There was a scientific theory until the 1930’s that the sun was made of high grade anthracite coal. Now we understand nuclear physics so we know better but that is how theory works.

@yarrw you are getting caught up in semantics. A theory is a scientific explaination of an observable fact. Germs exist, this a fact. But the explaination of how they cause disease and interact with our bodies is a theory. The same goes for the Gravitational Theory and Evolution Theory. All are facts. which use explainations to support them.

Prayers are being answered? How can you be sure? Are the prayers of Christian amputees ever answered? What about the prayers of Christian families for their children born with Down Syndrome or Multipule Sclerosis? I dont think anyone can doubt these Christians have faith. In fact, you can see how much faith they have in this video. But if you objectively look at the facts you can see that God will never answer prayers.

Wow.*****It’s amazing what IGNORANCE does to the whole world.While I 100% agree that what is going on in this video and churches across the Earth as well as making priests and pastors rich through tithing is completely wrong,I know without a doubt that God is real.Prayers are answered and if you people would move beyond your superficial world you would see that too.Your prayers are not going to be answered if you have zero faith and you are doing what everyone else in the world is doing.
